HOW WE WORK
Find out how we work at each stage of the product design process, from brief to delivery
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
Each TCS client has their own dedicated Account Manager. Working together the Account Manager quickly learns exactly what their client requirements are. Whether it’s budget, safety, deadlines, new ideas that’s the focus or all of these needs, their key objective is to fulfil the brief effectively. Engaging with the range of expertise within the TCS team of procurement, compliance, creative, logistics and QC we delight in ensuring the client’s needs are met.
PROCUREMENT
TCS has a comprehensive network of suppliers worldwide enabling us to ethically source a vast range of products from cosmetics to clothing, toys, bags, housewares, fashion and accessories. Our procurement team in London ensure everything we order is from a factory that can produce exactly to our clients` requirements.
CREATIVE
Creativity is key to what we do and very important in terms of what our client need. TCS has a talented team of in-house designers. Creating stunning visuals and illustrations to help our clients visualise a new product. This is enhanced by the introduction of a 3D printer which is now invaluable for both clients and factories.
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control is critical for our clients, we utilise independent accredited inspection companies and experienced QC Engineers from our China office to verify the quality of our goods through DUPRO (During Production Inspections) and FRI (Final Random Inspections) for every order.
LOGISTICS
We understand the importance of a delivery deadline, much of our work is for time sensitive promotions. We select our logistics partners extremely carefully ensuring the optimum freight method and route is chosen every time.
CORPORATE &
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
TCS is an active member of Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) and we are dedicated to working with our key factories on an ongoing basis to ensure they remain committed to the process of continual improvement of working conditions and good employment practices and remain true to the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Base Code.
TCS works closely with our clients to reduce our impact on the environment.
We achieve this by working with and educating our suppliers and clients to provide sustainable product options, and by using our product knowledge to offer alternative materials or sources which can be re-used, or recycled.
FACTORY AUDITING
To ensure high standards are maintained, we audit all of our key factories to internationally recognized codes such as SMETA on a regular basis with the help of independent auditing companies and our China office. We help to train our factories through comprehensive Critical Action Plans on best practice for health & safety and good employment practices to ensure we remain focused on root cause and not just single issues.
